I am an on-location, natural light photographer based in Dallas, Texas. My style is based on beautiful light, pastels, and intimate connections. My goal is to beautifully capture the most precious moments in your life in a way that you will cherish for many years to come. I can't wait to get to know you!
I love newborn photography sessions. There’s something so special about capturing those beautiful, intimate moments of life with a fresh little one. Lately, I have had so many inquiries for maternity and newborn photography sessions throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. I’m thrilled to be meeting so many new parents and growing families–especially now that I’ve opened my own studio in Dallas!–but all these bookings have me wondering: are we in a baby boom?
I did some quick research and the answer is, yes! News sites are calling 2022 a pandemic baby boom. While the pandemic initially slowed birth rates, experts are now predicting an increase in births in 2022, thanks to lower COVID-19 rates and the vaccine, especially as millennials decide to start families.
How exciting! After all the craziness of the past couple years, I think we could all use an extra dose of bundled-up sweetness.
In celebration of all these new babies, I thought I’d share some of my favorites from the predicted lists of popular 2022 baby names. I love how some of these are gorgeous classics and others are original and modern. I also noticed a trend among the predicted names: so many of them have meanings rooted in hope, which seems really fitting for these post-pandemic blessings.
If you have a baby due this year and are looking for a natural-light photographer in Dallas-Fort Worth, I’d love to work with you!
