As I’ve worked as a photographer for families in Dallas, one of my favorite experiences has been seeing how much babies grow and change from the newborn stage to their first birthday. That’s why I’m so thrilled to be offering the Baby Year Membership, a luxury photography experience to catalog and cherish your baby’s first year!

What does the Baby Year Membership include?

The Baby Year Membership includes four separate photography sessions in Dallas Fort Worth throughout your baby’s first year. It’s totally up to you when you’d like to schedule these sessions within baby’s first year, but I usually suggest the following intervals to get the biggest range of baby stages:

Newborn: I usually like to schedule newborn photos within the first two to three weeks of birth. These first weeks of baby’s life are such an intimate, tender stage, and I love to capture those sleepy yawns, squishy faces, and scrunchy toes as Momma and Dad soak in the cuddles. 

Months 3-4: At this age, babies start to smile socially more. They can usually lay on their bellies and lift their heads for some adorable tummy time photos.

Months 6-8: At this stage, most babies can sit up unassisted. Their little personalities are starting to come out as they begin to explore more of the world around them. 

First Birthday: By age one, babies start to stand or walk with assistance. This is also the perfect time to celebrate with a cake smash party for some keepsake first birthday photos!

How and When do I schedule each session?

This Dallas photography membership is meant to fit your lifestyle, making it easier for you to procure gorgeous baby photography of your child’s first year. I’m happy to schedule sessions in advance so it’s one less thing to worry about. 

But I also know things happen—babies get sick, you have to travel unexpectedly etc.—so we can always reschedule if need be. 

If you’d like to schedule each session closer to the date, I usually need at least two weeks’ notice to put you in the calendar.

Where do the sessions take place?

My natural light photography studio in Dallas is a perfect setting for baby photography sessions! If you choose to have all four sessions at the studio it can be really fun to do comparison photos in the same setting, allowing the focus to be on the ways baby is changing. 

I also love in-home sessions, which can be really great for newborn photography and baby photography because you don’t have to go anywhere! Babies tend to be more comfortable in their own environment too. 

Of course, outdoor baby photography sessions can also be so much fun. For cake smash photos, an outdoor session often takes some of the stress about the mess away. 

Really, the setting is up to you and I’m happy to discuss all the options with you personally.
